by Mahler Dietmar Visit Date:February 5, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Good Hotel (Value for Money) I will recommend this hotel. If you need more informations please translate my German report below. | Smooth, as it should be., December 17, 2009

by HUANG YI Visit Date:October 31, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Long distance from main road, but the staffs are always ready to send you to the joint of the main road. Room is ok, a little bit small." | Excellent and reliable., September 22, 2009
by Taryn Lynn Todd Visit Date:September 5, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The room is smaller than on the internet. The Aircon was noisy and blasted cold cold air throughout the night. Overall we were happy there and found the location fantastic, quiet and near all the action. We did not plan to stay in the hotel and to rather see the city so this hotel suited our needs. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay there again." | Simple, easy and fast, June 7, 2009 by Bart Schonewille Visit Date:June 5, 2009 "Near the busy area but quiet surroundings. Very friendly people. Very good value for price." | Went well, my first booking and I would use them again, May 26, 2009 by John C Visit Date:May 16, 2009 "Very nice little place, small room but nicely done, quiet, confortable. A bit of a trek getting up 3 flights of stairs with your luggage though, plus it is quite a way from the main road and the sky train. There is a free tuk-tuk which was available most of the times I needed it (but not on the way back, but it is only 5 mins walk). The staff wer very friendly and made a good effort, though I had to deal mainly with trainees whose English was bad and a few simple requests were messed up a bit by the staff, or they were unable to know what to do. But they did try and their attitude was very good. Nice place, I think worth the money if you don t mind the mild inconvenience of the slightly removed location." | The booking process was easy and my computer had a problem and I had no voucher to show but the hotel were expecting me anyhow., May 17, 2009 by Michael Devlin Visit Date:May 10, 2009 "I stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The good points were it is in a nice quiet location. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and it had an excellent shower. One can rent free DVD movies to watch. It had a free golf car on call to take guests to the main road. The free breakfast was quite good. The bad points were. It had no where to park a car, other than the narrow soi outside. The cable TV network was not True Move (which is better for westerners). There is no elevator. In conclusion it is quite a nice hotel to stay in but it is a little more expensive than it should be. I have stayed in Bangkok hotels its equal or better for less." | Outstanding, dependable, responsive, professional as usual!!!, May 10, 2009 by Richard Channing Parker Visit Date:May 8, 2009 "Best kept secret! I am very pleased with Salil Hotel. It is a charming little boutique hotel just far enough froom Sukhumvit to be peaceful and quiet. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The coffee shop has very good coffee by any standards-not the bitter stuff in many restaurants here. The free golf cart to and from Sukhumvit is very handy. Everything works:plumbing electrical, Wi-Fi. I sense there are brains behind this hotel." | May 31, 2009 by JOHN GOSSET Visit Date:May 3, 2009 "Very good hotel, rooms comfortable, and quiet in the Sukhumvit area, staff with a real smile. The only little improvement should be the lift. I will certainly come back.." | Done with easy, April 9, 2009 by Traci Morachnick Visit Date:April 7, 2009 "Relaxing atmosphere in the middle of the city. Highly recommended for travel or business. Affordable with all the amenities." | April 2, 2009 by Graham Ponton Visit Date:March 30, 2009 "Good hotel Rooms a little tight" | Excellant as always , all the ten years that im dealing with them., March 25, 2009 by Redha Mohammad Visit Date:March 19, 2009 "Nice hotel, its my third time in this hotel . I had a nice superior room at the top floor ( Fourth Floor). only draw back about this hotel that it has NO elevator. Getting to the first and second floor is no problem , but to the third and fourth you will feel the kick in heart unless in your good shape. I like this hotel cause its the only hotel in Soi 8 which is new ( around three year old ) and well priced . sure i will be coming back again .." | February 4, 2009 by Wei Fang Visit Date:January 23, 2009 "i m very pleased with the hotel. the room is clean & service is good. i will stay in the hotel again when i visit BKK next." | Ecellent service Well done!, February 6, 2009 by Judith Ramm Visit Date:January 21, 2009 "Spent 3 nights at this small but very friendly hotel. Ideally located near sky train and busy area but a short distance away to enjoy peace and quiet (a rare treat in Bangkok). Had no complaints what so ever. If we visit Bangkok again I would not hesitate to return to the Salil." | No problems with booking., November 28, 2008 by john g mooney Visit Date:November 23, 2008 "The Salil is a lovely hotel, in very good condition and with helpful and pleasant staff.
