The room was simple but clean. Ideal for overnight stay prior to catching a flight, particularly as the hotel will take you from / to Suvarnabhum airport. There is a restaurant and convenience shop close by. Good value for money in my opinion." | October 12, 2009 by Christina Visit Date:October 3, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Very good for transfer traveller,i will stay again next time!" | The hotel had not received the confirmation from Sawadi.com. I had a booking confirmation email though which was sufficient., August 12, 2009

Taxi driver from BKK airport had hard time to find this hotel having to ask directions twice." | Great as always, August 5, 2009 by Martin Ågren Visit Date:July 26, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Cheap and clean transit hotel with free transfer to and from airport. Just walk to exit 3 at the arrival hall and ask the ATTA desk." | Excellent, June 25, 2009 by Christine Anderson Visit Date:June 23, 2009 "We used this hotel as a quick stopover between flights and it was excellent for this. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the shuttle service was very efficient. I would use it again as a stopover." | April 28, 2009 by Mr & Mrs Tovey Visit Date:April 23, 2009 "In my opinion this hotel is not suitable for families. No lifts, not easy to find and very little sound insulation with people coming and going all night....I guess you get what you pay for!!!" | Excellent service, April 17, 2009 by lamees abbas Visit Date:April 3, 2009 "Very basic hotel, close to the airport. Good to stay in if your catching an early flight. LOTS OF INSECTS IN THE HOTEL." | parfait comme d habitude, April 6, 2009 by LAHAYE Visit Date:April 1, 2009 "tout pres de l aeroport, hotel tres propre ideal pour une nuit entre deux avions. service de transfert gratuit. restaurant de l hotel sympathique et bonne nourriture. nous y reviendrons volontiers. Nice and fresh hotel. Highly recommended by me!!" | February 11, 2009 by Brenda Marie Honold Visit Date:February 8, 2009 "The hotel was basic and very clean and had everything I needed for an overnight stay. Since I had to be at the airport at 5:00am this hotel was very convenient and also provided shuttle service to the airport. There are convenience stores near by and also a small night market. Besides that, nothing much around the area. If you re staying in Bangkok for more than a few days, stay in town where the majority of hotels are. This hotel is only good if you need to catch an early flight and need to be close to the airport" | February 4, 2009 by Irene Vautour Visit Date:January 28, 2009 "The staff was excellent; helpful, courteous, kind. They had coin-clothes washing machines. GREAT DAY IN THE MORNING!! Situated next to a TESCO grocery store, and most important, 10 minutes from the airport and reasonably priced to boot." | Efficient and smooth. But didn t get what we booked and paid for., February 14, 2009 by SONG YINGWEN Visit Date:January 23, 2009 "I am afraid I can t say that I feel satisfied about the hotel at all. I don t know the reason why the hotel is recommended by Sawadee, but I would definitely not recommend it to anyone else, considering the low credibility of the hotel. If a customer can t get rooms he paid for, what else could he expect from a hotel? Our experience at Silver Gold didn t have a good start. First the car that was supposed to transport us from the airport to hotel didn t show up as it should when we arrived in Bangkok in early morning Jan. 23. And this happened after I wrote to Sawadee to confirm the transport service two days before arrival. Our group, 15 people all together, including seniors and 3 children, had to wait at the airport at 2 a.m. in early morning for the hotel to send cars to pick us up after the airport service counter contacted the hotel. But this wasn t the worst part of the stay. When we arrived at the hotel around 2:30 a.m, we were told that there were not enough rooms for us. We booked five rooms and they had only 4 rooms left. They argued that we arrived too late and they were not sure if we would check in that day, which is totally nonsense. We didn t only booked, we paid for five rooms through Sawadee before arrival, and the best they offered was 4 rooms and 2 extra beds. It was late in night and children were really tired, so the whole group had to accomodate in these 4 rooms and in some rooms, three to four people have to share two beds. The hotel did appologize, but couldn t offer any better solution. They refused to give us any money back, arguing that they offered extra beds. I don t know how many people would accept the logic that 2 extra beds=one standard room, but I don t. We initially chose this hotel for a short overnight stay because of its geographic advantage (close to the airport) and the trust over Sawadee s recommendation, but it turns out this one was a disappointment. I sincerely hope what my families and I experienced at this hotel would be an isolate case." | Very good, January 2, 2009 by Erik Mattias Thorsell Visit Date:December 27, 2008 "The hotel was ok.Close to the airport. The personell was very friendly. The soroundings was a bit boring." | January 13, 2009 by nancy schmitz Visit Date:December 13, 2008 "I spent the night in this hotel on my way from San Francisco to Phnom Penh. I got in late in Bangkok. The driver was there to meet me and take me to a simple, but very clean and comfortable hotel. I had a good night s sleep in a quiet environment with a good breakfast the next morning. It is out of town so shopping was not an option. I would stay there again." | Hotels & Resorts RecommendDestination:Chiang Rai Location:Chiang Rai-Rimkok Address:Chiang Rai 482 Moo 4, Rimkok, Muang, City:Chiang Rai 57100 Start Rate:120 USD (Rate as of Mar 16 2010 22:05:32 GMT) Destination:Bangkok Location:Charoenkrung Road, Soi 50 Address:1552/2 Soi 50, Charoenkrung Rd., City:Bangrak, Bangkok 10500 Start Rate:72 USD (Rate as of Mar 16 2010 22:05:29 GMT) Destination:Sukhothai Location:Sukhothai Address:99 Moo 7, Sarmruen, Srisamrong, City:Sukhothai 64120 Start Rate:28 USD (Rate as of Mar 16 2010 22:20:49 GMT) Destination:Phuket Location:Kata Beach Address:36,38 Kata Road, Kata Beach, City:(Near Kata Beach Resort) Phuket 83100 Start Rate:32 USD (Rate as of Mar 16 2010 22:20:48 GMT) Destination:Bangkok Location:Sukhumvit Road, Soi 24 Address:88 Sukhumvit Soi 24, Sukhumvit Road, City:Klongton, Klongtoey, Bangkok 10110 Start Rate:80 USD (Rate as of Mar 16 2010 22:05:30 GMT) Destination:Chumphon Location:Chumphon Address:188/138 Saladaeng Road, Thatapao, City:Muang, Chumphon 86000 Start Rate:21 USD (Rate as of Mar 16 2010 22:05:33 GMT) Destination:Pattaya Location:Pattaya, Wongamat Beach Address:193 Moo 5, Soi Wong-Amat, Pattaya-Naklua, City:Pattaya City, Chonburi 20150 Start Rate:37 USD (Rate as of Mar 16 2010 22:05:46 GMT) Destination:Chiang Mai Location:San Pee Sua Address:181 Moo 6 Tambol San Pee Sua City:Muang, Chiangmai 50300 Start Rate:86 USD (Rate as of Mar 16 2010 22:05:31 GMT) | |
