We specifically booked a double room but were given a very dark twin room at the back. When we complained we were told that if we had booked directly with them and not with an agent we would have had the room we wanted. This gave a very bad immediate impression. The service was bad and unfriendly. At breakfast items listed were not given. At lunch I chose a dish that included desert and tea but was told that the sweets were finished and only after complaining was tea brought. At the moment the hotel is totally overlooked at the pool by a multi-story building site which is extremely noisy. Be aware that you cannot relax in the garden and be sure to ask for a room at the front of the hotel. This hotel is not cheap and neither is it conveniently situated. However it is a beautiful building. In our opinion it is not worth the money as you can find far better deals in small and intimate hotels in Bangkok. I have lived in Asia for eight years and now visit annualy. " |
